We got just enough freezing rain last night to create a thin layer of ice here at Twin Mill. Stall horses are staying in today due to slick footing. We will clean around them and they will have hay and water.
Please use caution on the roads and at the barn if you venture out. Remember, all surfaces are covered with ice and horse shoes act like ice skates! Even barefoot horses may slip on the hills.
