With temperatures in the 100's for the next week or so, pasture horses can be cooled by hosing their chests and the insides of their legs. Bran mash (mix water and bran, in tan can at the front of the barn, to oatmeal consistency) and electrolytes are available as well.
Stall horses will be coming in before the heat peaks.
